Effective November 15, 2025
MOC Social Club Inc. (“the Club,” “we”) takes the privacy of its Members seriously and is
committed to uphold, respect, and protect the private and confidential information of Members.
Information we collect:
- We collect personal information that allows us to review each Member’s application and
approve or deny membership, mediate disputes between Members, take disciplinary
action, and seek emergency medical care, or reach out to your emergency contact, if
necessary.
How we use it:
- Only members of the Board of Directors and the Membership Committee of the Club are authorized to access members’ personal information.
- We will not share membership lists and member information with outside parties, except as required by law or by government agencies as noted below.
- We are required to provide members’ personal information if requested by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, state police, or any other government agency, as long as the request is reasonable.
- We may provide personal information, including any known medical conditions or allergies, to medical personnel as necessary for any emergency treatment.
How we protect it:
- To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. All membership applications and member agreements are stored electronically in a password protected folder and/or in a locked filing cabinet.
- On occasion, it may be necessary for the Board of Directors to review information about a specific member. Such information will only be discussed in “Executive Sessions” of the Board (no guests or other non-Board members present). In very rare situations, it may be necessary to share information revealed in Executive Sessions with specific individuals, for example, to resolve disputes or take disciplinary action. Any such disclosure must be approved by the Board of Directors.
- MOC will never disclose the names of members externally unless required by law or a court order, with some exceptions. The names of Directors and officers must be disclosed on IRS and state corporation documents.a
